Taking the Journey Together,

One Step at a Time.

Why Tracy’s Table?

Tracy’s Table is a welcoming platform for everyone who feels they can benefit from a space to share new thoughts and ideas, grounded in faith, to improve their lives.

Why “Tracy’s Table?”  A table can be a blanket on the floor. tray, desk, end table, coffee table, bar, counter, island, kitchen table, dining table or any other flat surface. It does not matter.  A table, in any form, becomes the “heart” of any home. It is a space used to eat, read, study, talk and pray. It is a space where friends and family gather whether in person or virtually to share their thoughts, feelings and faith. It is a space where memories and decisions are made, disagreements occur and disputes are resolved. For all these reasons, I believe “Tracy’s Table” is the perfect name for this platform for faith and fun.

Tracy’s Table is a platform to provide opportunities for everyone to explore their faith. Over time, we’ll do more at Tracy’s Table. It will become a space to share recipes, fitness tips, book recommendations, workshops and other ways we can live at a higher level.

❊ Meet Tracy McCabe Shelton ❊

In December 2024, Tracy embarked on a journey to read, study, and share God’s Word. Eleven months later, she completed her first read of the Bible cover-to-cover. Then, in January 2026, Tracy became a Master of Divinity Candidate at The Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C.

Before diving into this biblical journey, Tracy served as the Executive Director of the Kingsbridge-Riverdale-Van Cortlandt Development Corporation (KRVC), a New York-based not-for-profit. During her 14 years there, she developed extensive programs, initiatives, and events to serve the Northwest Bronx. Prior to KRVC, Tracy spent nearly two decades working as a Consumer Attorney for the New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG).

Tracy grew up in Maryland where she is currently an active member of Atlantic United Methodist Church/AUMC. While Tracy is based in New York where she has lived for more than three decades and raised two sons, she spends as much time as she can with her mother in Maryland and Florida.

Beyond reading and studying the Bible, Tracy loves spending time with family and friends, participating in church and cultural activities, traveling, swimming, practicing Christian yoga, taking long walks, and enjoying the beach whenever she can.

In February of 2024, I was privileged to meet Tracy McCabe Shelton. From that meeting Tracy began attending Atlantic United Methodist Church and has become a faithful member of this community of faith. I, as her pastor, have been excited to witness a “spiritual awakening” in her life that has inspired her to share the truths of God through her own vision of “Bible Bits” on social media, and the “Atlantic United Methodist Church Bible Book Club.” To give credibility to her work, she has read the Bible from beginning to end in less than a year which is quite an achievement. I am proud to be Tracy’s pastor, and am excited for her fine contributions she has made and will continue to contribute to the mission and ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ here on earth.
